Our room was clean and tidy on arrival, with a double bed and fold out couch, small 3 seat table. However in order to fold out the couch to a bed, the table had to be pushed into a corner of the room, and chairs up on top. To say these rooms are small is no exaggeration, and the ensuite is tiny, with a shower small hand basin and toilet. A large person would have trouble moving around in there. The amenities were significantly lacking. The kitchen had a small refrigerator, the icebox though was unusable as it was completely iced up. There is a microwave oven, plates, pots and pans and cutlery but little else, not even a dishcloth to wipe bench or dry dishes. There is a kettle, but no coffee or tea, and no salt or pepper either. If you plan to cook here, you might be frustrated by the experience. There were also a number of maintenance issues of concern. The bathroom door would not close and the door wouldn't latch. Both the hand basin and shower wouldn't drain correctly, the shower head slider was falling away from the wall. The extractor fan was so blocked with dust that it wouldn't spin unless force started by hand, doing so resulted in alot of dust falling onto the floor. The toilet seat would fall down when lifted. My biggest concern though is the lax security. The front entrance and room codes are not exactly unique or hard to guess, and while I'm not going to state them here, they will be obvious how the codes were decided upon if you stay here, and possible for a guest to enter any other room in the complex using that knowledge. As a result we didn't feel comfortable leaving any of our documents and valuables in the room when out. There is CCTV in the common areas. Overall, if you plan to stay here, don't expect much, but for the price, I think it would be fair to expect a few more of the basics, doors and facilities to be fit for purpose and better attention to basic security.
