Buckingham Palace Residences by Aeria Apartments

I booked a three-bedroom apartment for a 10-day stay. Unfortunately, several issues affected the overall experience. The building's elevator was out of service for the entire duration of my stay. When I asked the receptionist about it, I was informed that it had already been broken for two weeks and they had no estimated repair date. It was still not working when I checked out 10 days later. The internet connection was extremely poor at the beginning of my stay. Midway through the stay, the property upgraded to fiber internet, which significantly improved the connection. The TV had no working channels, making it unusable for entertainment. The apartment was not equipped with basic cleaning supplies. When I requested cleaning, even as a paid service, I was told that the staff were too busy. However, after I explained that it was an urgent matter, someone was sent to clean at no charge, which I appreciated. One important point for future guests is the location. While being directly opposite Buckingham Palace is a major attraction, it also means that on several days each week, the surrounding roads are closed to traffic during the Changing of the Guard ceremony. No vehicles are permitted through the area during these closures, which can make it difficult if you need to leave for a flight or catch a train. Overall, the location is excellent, but the maintenance, amenities, and service need improvement to provide a better guest experience.
