Had a great stay here, paid £20 extra for a club room, ours was on the 5th floor. The best thing about it was the quiet, couldn't hear the street (which is pretty quiet anyway) or the neighbouring rooms, water pipes, etc. just lovely peace! Some other points about the room: fridge with complementary water and chilled glasses (nice touch), blackout curtains, great aircon, really nice and very modern bathroom with large rainfall shower. The mattress was so good i took a photo of the label. You could say some parts of the room were a bit tired (e.g. varnish on the desk, some scraped off paint on a wall edge but the quality of the furniture and fittings made up for it. Bathroom looked brand new though. We went out for breakfast so can't comment on that. Sainsbury's local on the square, nice little park right opposite. I liked the area between the hotel and london bridge (station is 25 min walk). We will definitely stay again, i think for london it's great value, possibly distance to the tube keeps the price a bit lower? Highly recommend.
