I have asthma and was given a room with the heating on during summer, while it was around 36°C outside. I genuinely felt seriously unwell and feared for my life. I asked for help but felt completely ignored, so I had no choice but to leave the room. Despite this being a serious health and safety issue, both the property and Booking.com refused to properly resolve the situation or refund my unused nights. The lack of care and customer service was shocking. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I would also say don’t blindly trust the reviews you see on Booking.com or other booking websites. I tried to leave an honest review about my experience, but Booking.com is not even giving me the option to leave one after I complained.
