Unfortunately there is no ventilation, which has led to a damp problem. The mould is growing through the walls, so badly that you could see it grow. We contacted the landlord: as a solution someone came to cover a patch of mould with a fresh coat of paint. This, of course, does not solve the problem. We later shared photos with the apartment owner and tried several times to contact them via Booking.com. Unfortunately the owner was not prepared to offer a lasting solution and even denies that the photos are of the bathroom in the apartment. As far as we are concerned, the apartment is unsuitable to stay in.
