Booked an apartment the host owns through booking.com, they after we paid £440 asked us through email to fill in a 'Pre Check-In' form asking for our groups passport numbers, flight numbers and an extra £100 for a 'Security Deposit'. The day before we were to arrive booking.com email to inform me that the host has cancelled our booking. I am not only having to look for elsewhere 24 hours before arriving now but I am also having to be the one to contact their unaware support to ask for a refund for the security deposit. Would not interact with the business again, dreadful.
