JUL2026: I seldom write about hotels (and I am generally not a fan of hotels at all), but this one deserves a note. If you need to stay in the middle of down town London, this is not your choice. But if you are looking for a true cultural experience, combined with a most comfortable hotel, and unique environment, please check this out. I have never stayed in such setting before. In the middle of the iconic and historic city hall of Crouch End/Hornsey. A modernist architecture that will make you travel 100 years back. Carefully renovated. Rooms are small (like all options in London) but very well arranged and comfy. I could not open the windows (which to me is normally a big issue) but surprisingly i did not mind here - maybe the historic window frames convinced me. Service was worthy of a high class hotels, easily. And the neighborhood has to be worth a visit. Crouch end is so exciting. Think Annie Lennox recording studio, uber London but in relaxed setting, fantastic eating joints everywhere. A short trip by buss (next to the hotel) will take you to key transport hubs in London (such as Finsbury Park). So really, if in London, consider that.
