I booked two villas at Al Nawras Resort via Booking app expecting them to be connected so my whole family could stay together, only to find on arrival that the villas were quite far apart. It was disappointing, but we managed. The next morning at 10:55 am well before my 1 pm checkout the cleaning staff knocked on the door and told us we had already checked out. We were still asleep. Moments later, a receptionist rang and spoke to me in a sharp, raised tone, repeatedly asking whether I had checked out instead of checking with her team. I tried to clarify our villa numbers, but she continued speaking abruptly. When I asked her to describe the person who supposedly handed in our villa card, she described someone we didn’t know. Only then did her tone suddenly soften and she began apologising. Overall, her manner was unprofessional, unnecessarily loud, and quite confrontational.
