The hotel is very good located. Not just in terms of sightseeing, but despite very dynamic Istanbul life around that particular street is quiet. No bars downstairs for example. So if you want to sleep at night - go on. Rooms are simple and according to the hotel's classification (stars), but crucial is that they are clean. The rooms themselves, bed sheets, bathrooms. In Istanbul it's hugely important. Communication with the host is very clear and fast. Just the rooms are a bit smaller than expected. It's the only thing. So for it's price The House of Tulpan is a very good option in that segment. Main things are location, clean rooms, quiet street.
