Be careful when booking Theodora Empress Hotel: although you reserve the main hotel, you may be moved to another part without any clear notice if there is “no availability”, which is like a hostel. That other part is in poor condition — dirty, poorly maintained, and without breakfast. This is not clearly stated anywhere in the booking process. Only in the email confirmation, in small print, is there information that breakfast is not included, which most people easily overlook. From some staff members and other guests, we heard that this practice is regularly used when there are larger crowds. This is a very unclear and misleading, so I advise carefully reading and checking the reservation to ensure that the main hotel is actually confirmed and that there is no possibility of being relocated to another part which iz Hotel Theodora Empress II.
