Laleli Gonen Hotel

Do not stay at this hotel. I stayed here few dyas June 2026 and was shocked to find the hotel was effectively a construction site with renovation works taking place throughout the property. The noise was constant and very disruptive, making it difficult to relax or sleep. The air conditioning did not work, which made the room extremely uncomfortable in the hot weather. Other facilities were also not functioning properly, and the overall condition of the room was poor. The bathroom and room cleanliness were below an acceptable standard. I raised my concerns with reception on multiple occasions during my stay, but nothing was done to resolve the issues. The service was disappointing and staff were not helpful. Breakfast was very basic with limited choice and did not meet expectations. After the stay, I requested a refund due to the poor conditions and disruption caused by the renovation works, but the hotel refused. As a result, I have had to pursue the matter through my credit card provider. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are far better options available in Istanbul.
