Asmalı Mescit Cad. No:20 Tünel - Beyoğlu
Open in Google MapsWe checked into the hotel in the afternoon, but our room was unbearably hot—much hotter than outside. It felt as if the heating was on. We reported the issue immediately, and the staff confirmed that there was a technical problem. However, they told us there were no available rooms and basically expected us to tolerate that temperature until the next day. They did not offer any real solution, no alternative room, no proper compensation, and nothing that would make the room livable. As a result, we lost almost our entire first day dealing with this problem instead of enjoying our vacation. We even started looking for another hotel. Later that evening, the air conditioning started working again, so we decided not to move, thinking we would finally be able to sleep comfortably. We were very wrong. Around 5–6 a.m., the hotel switched off the central air conditioning, and the room became unbearably hot again. We woke up exhausted and extremely uncomfortable. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Losing a full day of our trip and not even being able to sleep properly completely ruined the start of our vacation. I will also upload a video of the breakfast so people can judge for themselves. It was mainly low-quality packaged cakes and biscuits, not what I would expect from a proper hotel breakfast.
