We really enjoyed our stay at the Empress Zoe. The location can not better for exploring the ancient sites by foot, just a few min walk away from the front door. The rooms are beautifully decorated but the best thing is, the beds are incredibly comfortable. Our room looked out at the Bosphorus and the garden area, which is a quiet and cool respite from the old city. Sevine's breakfasts in the garden were amazing, fresh yogurt, fruit, sweet and savory pastries and accompanyments. Eggs too. The staff were exemplary and got us what we needed, kind and friendly. They recommended a couple of really good restaraunts, Tria being exceptional, with dining over looking the water and city. DiVella right across the cobbled street was a perfect place to eat a relaxing lunch while people watching.Overall a really wonderful experience.
