Open in Google MapsDO NOT BOOK THE ECONOMY ROOM. We stayed around 2 weeks last April. we booked the double bed economy room for 2 people. the room was very small and was in the basement, the "terrace" out the window was an air duct surrounded by walls. And during the night, slugs started to come out from the holes in the bathroom piping.(see pictures) We asked for a room change, they only allowed us to change it with a 120 eur fee. We changed the room into a top floor room, and right after we moved rooms a new guest was moved into the "economy" room. We heard that guest also complain to the front desk staff about the room too. The manager did nothing to address the actual issue. the new oom was better, but the bathroom had very poor ventilation so the room allways got steamy. We had some momentary breathing issues from that. The room itself had very little amenities, there wasnt even a place to hang towels. they just put them on the bed but where are we supposed to put them if theyre wet? No kettle, fridge, or anything. Had a basic tv though. The cleaning was done by only one lady, there were times where our cleaning requests weren't done because she was overworked. The front desk staff told us "talk to the cleanung lady yourself" Other than that, there are some events going on in the main hostel building. some free, some for money. We had our own plans so we didnt go to those. Breakfast was included, but had a small selection. MUCH less than shown on the pictures. Overall, this hostel tries to act more like a bar and hangout spot and the hostel feature is just secondary?? very weird :/ There are many much better hotels for this price, Istanbul is a huge city. Look for more options. I wish we didnt waste money on this hostel, but honestly whatever. Enjoy the money Mr manager.
