Mosela Tower by Emaar, The Views and Greens

I have lived in this building full time for 4 years. Three stars for the following reasons : PROS - Location : greatly situated and convenient, walking distance from shops, surrounded by walkable green areas and nice views on the Greens and Emirates Golf. The area that is close in driving distance to many Dubai hotspots. - Staff : overall, staff are always polite and helpful. - Pool : nice pool with a good view. - Residents : family friendly, diverse residential community. CONS - Renovation noise : this building is a little old, so in my time here we have constantly been living with the background noise of renovations around us. Every time a unit is sold, the new owner renovates for 3-5 months, leading to a constant cycle of construction noise for inhabitants. Often, workers will be drilling/hammering on Sundays or outside of the rules of their NOC, and the building management seems not to care about this - or makes you jump through hoops to lodge a complaint. It’s disappointing that Emaar doesn’t seem to consider the wellbeing of residents when handing out NOCs for renovation work - at one point in 2025, we had THREE apartments around ours that were using power tools simultaneously, for months on end. - Sound insulation : to make the above worse, sound insulation is poor - I can hear the hammering of a renovation three floors above my apartment at the moment (today is Sunday). - Build quality/age : the building is in regular need of maintenance - in my time here we have had two serious water damage issues in the apartment, mold, paint peeling from the walls in common areas, etc… This means regular expenses to fix issues at home, and when damage occurs in common areas, it often takes months for the building management to get around to fixing it. - Gym : perpetually dirty, with equipment that is regularly breaking down and takes 1-2 months to fix most of the time.
