Dear Management Team, I am a delivery driver and had a scheduled delivery at Bouvelle Towers today at 4:00 PM. Upon arrival, I parked briefly in the designated pick-up and drop-off area and entered the building to complete the delivery. The receptionist informed me that parking was not allowed. I respectfully asked where I should park since I had a delivery for a resident, but I was told to check outside on the road or find RTA parking, as the building does not provide any parking for delivery vehicles. I explained that deliveries are frequent and serve your residents daily, and that stopping for five minutes in a pick-up/drop-off area should be reasonably accommodated. Unfortunately, my request was refused. Additionally, the item I was delivering was a delicate bouquet of fresh flowers. It cannot be carried over long distances without risk of damage. I eventually had to park nearly one kilometer away and walk back to the building to complete the delivery. Despite the difficulty, I ensured the delivery was completed successfully. This matter is not only about communication but also about the lack of a proper system for delivery vehicles. Many professionally managed buildings provide loading bays or short-term delivery parking to ensure smooth service for residents without causing inconvenience or delays. Since deliveries are for your residents and tenants, I kindly request the management to review this matter and consider allocating a short-stay delivery parking solution, especially when there are available loading/unloading slots.
