GLOBALSTAY Scala Tower with Free Parking

We booked through Booking.com via Globalstay. The location of the apartment is good and the check-in process was uncomplicated. Unfortunately, when we arrived the entire apartment smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. The odor was noticeable in all rooms and very unpleasant for non-smokers. We informed the owner about the issue, but unfortunately the problem did not seem to be taken very seriously. We were only given a room fragrance for one room and advised to keep the air conditioning running. However, this did not really improve the strong smell of smoke. In addition, the check-out time was stated as 12:00 pm in the booking. Nevertheless, the cleaning staff rang the doorbell repeatedly around 11:10 am and wanted to start cleaning. After we explained that the check-out time had not yet been reached, they waited outside the door until we left, which felt uncomfortable. This is a pity because the apartment itself has potential. A more thorough cleaning and better respect for the stated check-out time would significantly improve the experience for future guests.
