Bellavista

We rented this hotel apartment for our Eid holiday staycation with friends, and overall we had a good experience. The location is excellent, with an amazing Burj Khalifa and dancing fountain view. Spinneys is also open 24 hours and conveniently located just across the street. The swimming pool area was nice too — 2 big pools and 1 kids’ pool, all with a great view, and swimming is allowed until 10 PM. A special mention to Gretchen for being very accommodating, patient, and quick to respond to our messages throughout our stay. The apartment itself was nice, but there are a few things that need improvement, especially cleanliness and guest essentials. We were told kitchen utensils were available, but aside from appliances, there were barely any basic utensils like forks, spoons, or cooking tools. Unlike hotels, they also do not provide complimentary water or coffee. We booked for 3 people, so the couple used the bedroom while I stayed on the couch. Unfortunately, the couch smelled like vomit. I informed them, and they said it had been cleaned and the smell would disappear once dry, but I still didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on it. My pillow also had no pillowcase, and even the comforter had no cover until I put it on myself. The pillow was very uncomfortable — too high and clumpy — and caused neck and back pain. Overall, the view and location were the highlights of the stay, but cleanliness, bedding comfort, and basic apartment supplies definitely need improvement.
