Open in Google MapsThe hotel itself is excellent. The rooms are clean, the facilities are well maintained, and overall the property provides a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately, my experience at check-in completely overshadowed all of these positives. I arrived with a fully paid and confirmed reservation. Upon reaching the reception, I was simply told to wait in the lobby and that I would be called. No one asked for my name, booking reference, or any details that would allow them to determine my position in the queue. While waiting, I observed several walk-in guests who arrived after me being checked in and receiving their room keys before me. When I politely asked why guests arriving later were being served first, I was given no clear explanation and was simply told to continue waiting. I also requested to speak with a manager, but my request was ignored. Another guest raised a similar concern and received the same dismissive treatment. Throughout the process, the reception staff showed little interest in addressing our concerns or explaining the situation. What made the experience even more upsetting was that I felt disrespected and treated differently based on my race/nationality/language/accent. Whether intentional or not, the way I was treated made me feel extremely uncomfortable, unwelcome, and undervalued as a guest. The overall impression was that prepaid online bookings were given less priority than walk-in customers, as if guests who had already paid could simply be left waiting indefinitely. It is unfortunate because the hotel itself is one of the best in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and facilities. However, hospitality begins at reception, and in this case the service was disappointing, unprofessional, and lacking the basic respect that every guest deserves.
