Oriental Residence Bangkok got so many things right. The 70 sqm one-bedroom suite felt more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room, with plenty of space to unwind after a day exploring the city. Breakfast exceeded expectations, especially the Eggs Benedict with Tom Yum sauce. It was one of those dishes you don’t expect to work, but it absolutely did. The rich hollandaise combined with the gentle kick and flavour of the Tom Yum made it one of the most memorable hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The staff were consistently warm and attentive without ever being overbearing, and the location made it easy to walk to Lumphini Park or hop on the BTS at Phloen Chit. I’d choose this hotel again without hesitation.
