Had to go to Abha for one night, and was happy to see a well-rated Best Western which is a chain I have loyalty with and which is good value most of the time. Well, definitely not here. Paid US$150 so not cheap and not good. Wonder who wrote all the misleading positive reviews? In a seemingly empty hotel, I got put in a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the noisy street, nothing I could tell the front desk to have them understand I needed a quiet room on a high floor. Breakfast really mediocre and substandard for Saudi. And to top it all off, no hot water in the shower. They tried to fix it (after 15 minutes trying to get the front desk on the phone, no answer). But the kid they send to fix it had no idea what to do and just stood there until I asked him to go. Hope my review stands out as the only true review because this hotel is best avoided.
