I’m really disappointed with my stay. I understand that the hotel may be experiencing a shortage of staff, but several issues significantly affected my experience. The faucet and shower were not working properly, the toilet had an unpleasant smell, and housekeeping never cleaned my room while I staying here for 3 nights. I reported these issues several times and was always told, “Insha’Allah,” and assured they would be taken care of. Unfortunately, nothing was ever done. Communication was also difficult, as many of the staff spoke very limited English, making it challenging to explain the problems and receive assistance. Another thing I noticed is that different staff members often give different answers. It also helps to remember the name of the person you spoke to, because another staff member may ask who assisted you and even ask for their name or a description. This level of service is especially inconvenient for travelers on a tourist visa who are only staying for a short period and expect basic hotel facilities to function properly. I understand that I am in the Holy Land, where patience and understanding are especially important. I have tried to be patient throughout my stay. However, professionalism and fulfilling basic responsibilities are equally important. Guests should not have to repeatedly report the same issues without any action being taken. Trust me, once was enough. I definitely won’t be staying at this hotel again. I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and improves its maintenance, housekeeping, and customer service for future guests.
