GSS Avenue Hotel

I chose this hotel because it was budget-friendly, but unfortunately that was its only advantage. I first went to the hotel and asked to book and pay directly at the reception, but the staff refused without giving any valid reason and told me, **"Go find another hotel."** I had no choice but to book through the **Agoda** app. When I returned, the receptionist took my booking number and said, **"I canceled your booking. You are not welcome here."** He refused to provide any proof or explain why. After contacting Agoda, they confirmed that my reservation had **not** been canceled and that the receptionist was simply wasting my time. I was left standing outside the hotel for almost two to three hours because of his behavior, while he acted as if the hotel were his personal property. During another stay, when I asked for a clean room, the receptionist proudly told me, **"All our rooms have cockroaches, and that's not my problem."** The hotel also cut off the electricity and air conditioning at exactly 12:00 PM, even though I intended to extend my stay. As a result, the food I had stored in the refrigerator spoiled, and the room developed a terrible smell. When I complained, the receptionist simply replied, **"Yes, this hotel smells bad. Don't book here."** The biggest problem with this hotel is not only its condition, but also the arrogant and unprofessional attitude of the reception staff. I will also be submitting a formal complaint to the Department of Tourism regarding the way I was treated and the unacceptable customer service. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
