Doha Dynasty Hotel

I booked a standard room and later upgraded to a higher room category because I expected a better experience. However, when I wanted to wash my hair, I discovered that there was no hair dryer in the room. I called the front desk, and they brought me one. What really disappointed me happened later that evening. I was alone in my room when someone knocked on my door. Since no one informed me in advance, I felt quite frightened. When I opened the door, the staff member simply said, “Give me the hair dryer.” I was shocked. A hair dryer is a basic amenity that should already be provided in the room category I paid for. Instead, I was made to feel as though I had borrowed something and was being chased to return it. It was an embarrassing and very unpleasant experience. To make matters worse, the daytime receptionist was neither welcoming nor helpful. There was no sense of hospitality or professionalism throughout my stay. This may seem like a small issue, but good service is not only about the room itself—it is also about how guests are treated. I hope the hotel reviews its service standards so that future guests do not have the same disappointing experience.
