Disappointing experience. When I made my reservation, I specifically requested 2 connecting rooms because we were traveling together. However, upon check-in, the hotel informed me that connecting rooms were not available. The receptionist then promised to give us 2 rooms on the same floor as an alternative. Unfortunately, that promise was not kept either—we were assigned rooms on different floors, which was very inconvenient. To make matters worse, when we entered the room, the bathroom amenities were incomplete. There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste, which should be standard items in a hotel room. We had to contact the staff to request the missing amenities, which added to the inconvenience. I was already tired after traveling and had to spend more time complaining about the room arrangement. This was frustrating and not the level of service I expected. If the hotel cannot guarantee connecting rooms, they should at least honor the alternative they promise. Overall, a very disappointing check-in experience.
