Great place to land in Japan. Location is perfect, very calm and yet at the heart of Asakusa. Staff is very kind and helpful, and has sweet attention for small children. The room is both traditional and comfortable for foreigners. Special mention for the private family bath you can book, and go to with yukatas provided by the ryokan. There’s also a shared room with tea, water, coffee and snacks, as well as activities such as calligraphy, origami, paper sumo wrestling and more. Strongly recommend this ryokan. They’ve made our first days in Japan smooth and easy with your 4 year old daughter.
