Booked executive floor room with lounge access for 4 nights. Arrived at the hotel at 12:30, was told the check in time is 3pm and only allowed to access lounge after check in. In other group chain hotel, usually the check in process in the lounge and guest can wait in the lounge until the room is ready. Accepted their policy and understood only can get into room at 3pm but asked the front desk (her) to proceed the checkin, so when I back to hotel just need to collect the key. She confirmed. Due to after long flight and arrived in the morning, asked if any shower room, she said no. Back to hotel around 5:30pm, she has been replaced by other, showed my passport and even the booking letter and they said can't find my reservation. So the earlier front desk staff didn't do as she promised. After a while they found it. On the third day, invited my friend who stay on non executive floor for having breakfast together in the lounge, we must pay extra because my friend's entitlement breakfast at ground floor restaurant. On next day, I decided to join my friend to have breakfast at ground floor, but it turned out they also charge extra fee, they said the ground floor restaurant has more menus. If that is the case why did they charge when my friend went to lounge which has less menu? Not worthed to pay an executive floor room with access to lounge. The room is clean but it is very old. With no pool, no shower room not quite sure how this hotel rated as five star. This hotel is far from city center, but there is MRT station attach the hotel.
