HOTEL LiVEMAX Tokyo-Otsuka Ekimae

If I could give zero stars, I would — unfortunately, that is not an option. Disgusting, appalling, unsanitary, and outright unacceptable are just some of the words I would use to describe my experience here. The outside is completely deceiving — it looks decent enough, but that illusion ends the second you step out of the elevator. The hallway carpets were visibly filthy and heavily soiled, which immediately set off alarm bells. I was already uncomfortable before I even reached my room. When I opened the door to my room, the smell hit me instantly — a mix of dog odor, a faint urine smell, and a strong musty, dirty stench. It was overwhelming, hence the cheap air freshener sitting under the desk. The room felt so unclean that I did not even sit down. I felt dirty just being in there. In my room, the walls were filthy, there was a stain on the comforter, and everything felt grimy and neglected. I lasted less than five minutes before booking another hotel. I did not unpack, I did not sit, and I wanted to get out as fast as possible. When I returned the key, the receptionist seemed surprised that I was leaving so quickly. I simply said yes, thank you, and kept walking. After seeing the condition of my room, there was no chance I was staying, and I had no interest in being offered another one. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying here.
