We had booked Hotel Fukudaya for 2 segments of our Tokyo trip, with a 9-day gap in between, and were hoping to leave some of our luggage with the hotel in the interim. Although the hotel’s policy is to store guests’ belongings for a maximum of 7 days, the boss and staff very kindly made an exception & extended the timeline slightly for our convenience - for which I’m very grateful for! Beyond that, the property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. Staff are friendly and courteous. This was my second stay at Hotel Fukudaya, and I found myself returning because of the excellent first impression it left on me the first time around :-)

- Please note, payment in cash or credit card must be made upon check-in.
- Guests arriving after 23:00 must inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.
- All rooms at this hotel are nonsmoking.
- Public baths are open from 19:00 to 25:00 (Next day 1:00). The public showers are open 24 hours a day.
- When guests book a "Japanese-Style" room, the hotel can provide extra futon mats for children. Please see the conditions below:
- - For 4 years old and under: 1st child can use a futon mat free of charge. Extra charges apply for the second child.
- - For children aged 5-8 years old: an extra charge is applied per child.
- We are currently progressing with renovation work inside the building. Construction is basically carried out every day from 9:30 to 17:00. All of this is scheduled to end by the end of this fiscal year, and we will do our best to minimize the inconvenience to our customers. Thank you for your understanding.
- We will be closed from January 7, 2025 to January 22, 2025 due to maintenance inspections and renovations. Please note that partial renovation work will also be carried out before and after this period.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.
