**A Comfortable Stay with an Excellent Location Near Haram** I recently stayed at Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel in the Superior Quad Room and had a good overall experience. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was ready at the time of check-in, and we were handed the access cards immediately without any waiting. The hotel staff were accommodating, and they also provided a wheelchair for my elderly mother, which was very helpful during our stay. The reception team was responsive throughout, and the room service team provided regular daily cleaning along with fresh towels. The room was clean and well maintained, but it was quite compact, especially considering it was a Quad Room. The entrance of the room was also very narrow, which made it difficult to enter and exit with a baby stroller and a wheelchair for my elderly mother. Moving around inside the room with four people was challenging due to the limited space. The room had a combination of wooden flooring and carpeted areas under the beds. The carpet was not very soft and could have been better. Despite the size limitations, the beds were extremely comfortable and very clean, making it easy to rest after long days. The room had a cozy feel overall. The bathroom size was acceptable — slightly compact, but okay. The shower area was separated, although it was also on the smaller side. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is approximately a 5–7 minute straight walk to Haram, with King Abdul Aziz Gate being around 300 meters away. This convenience makes it a great choice for visitors who prioritize being close to Masjid Al Haram. Another excellent feature is the mosque located on the 6th floor, which is connected to Haram's live broadcast system. Guests can pray there while following the live Haram Jamat, and it is available for both men and women. Although the hotel is rated as a 5-star property, I would not rate it full 5 stars in terms of room size and spaciousness, it's more like 4 stars. However, the location, cleanliness, comfortable beds, helpful staff, and overall convenience make it a great option, especially for those visiting Haram frequently. One area that could be improved is the restaurant at the reception. The food prices are extremely high, and in my opinion, the value does not justify the cost. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because of its excellent proximity to Haram, cleanliness, and overall comfortable stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel within walking distance of Masjid Al Haram with good rates and a convenient location.
