Tower Residences by Blue Orchid

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Extremely disappointed with both this property and the way this situation has been handled. We booked Tower Residences by Blue Orchid specifically because the listing advertised air conditioning. After booking, we discovered this is highly misleading. The property does not have proper air conditioning, only a portable AC unit. This is a major difference. A portable AC unit requires an exhaust hose through an open window, meaning guests are expected to sleep with a window open while dealing with outside noise, reduced cooling efficiency, and obvious privacy/security concerns. That is not what most people reasonably expect when a property advertises “air conditioning.” Had this been made clear upfront, we would never have booked. As soon as we realised this, we immediately requested cancellation through Booking.com because the accommodation was misrepresented. Booking.com contacted the property and instructed us to call directly. We did exactly that, only to be met with zero flexibility and a complete refusal to cancel. What is most disappointing is not just the misleading listing, but the complete lack of accountability or willingness to resolve the issue fairly. Advertising portable AC as standard air conditioning is misleading. Refusing to offer any reasonable resolution after this was raised is unacceptable. Potential guests should be extremely cautious and make sure they clarify exactly what is meant by “air conditioning” before booking.
