The J Hyde Park

Not recommended. Poor customer service. We arrived at night and had to call the attendant via a doorbell as the door was locked. A guy came and had zero customer service skills. He wasn't friendly, seemed disinterested, and didn't know what an elevator was. Our room was in the basement and he just told us to go down there. He didn't offer to help carry down our luggage and stroller and just watched me bring it down and closed the door. At first glance it felt like walking into a horror scene (see pic). When we got in the room, the AC was turned down to 16 degrees for some reason. The hand soap was almost empty and there was no body wash provided, only shampoo. The room was okay but since it was in the basement there was no view. In the morning around 9am a staff member was vacuuming upstairs and it was very loud. Overall it was a poor experience and the only positive was that we were there for a short time and in a good area. Probably the worst hotel I've never stayed in.
