Lovely hotel! Great location and clean room, although had a couple of issues. We arrived around midnight where the reception was closed and sign on the door saying the code to get our key card was emailed to us. We sat for half an hour hunting for this code and no email or text was sent. We think this is because it was booked via Amex, as we only got a confirmation email from them. If you are booking through Amex would recommend getting in touch with hotel beforehand to ensure they send confirmation of room details. After trying to get in contact with the hotel after 15 mins we managed to get in, the staff were helping and sorted it straight away. Another issue was that there was no air conditioning, we booked earlier in the year so did not know there would be a heatwave during our stay. This made it really uncomfortable to sleep or even cool down, a fan was provided but the room was already so hot that it just circulated the warm air. Would definitely stay again if they invested in some air con.
