The Crescent Hyde Park

I booked this hotel on booking.com for 4 nights in June. The area was nice, near to Paddington Station and around the corner was a few restaurants/cafes, nisa local and a pharmacy. The hotel is a sister hotel to The Westbourne which is located across the road it was ideal as they still allowed us to leave our bags for a few hours when checking in and checking out, the bar was nice and staff were very kind/attentive could not fault them at all. A few things to note about this hotel is there is no lift only stairs, we were on the fourth floor which I realised was the top floor and quite a journey we had to make each day to get to the room especially when bringing our suitcases up and down. If you needed anything the reception desk sometimes was not available downstairs so you had to ask at The Westbourne reception. The room was clean and we had room service everyday however the shower floor was stained/textured almost like it had a large mat on it previously and it had been ripped off. Mainly because of the stairs I would probably not stay at this hotel again a room on a lower floor would have been more suitable and maybe we would’ve enjoyed the stay more, the staff were especially helpful with brilliant service and the best part about the stay.
