Great location, room is okay, staff is friendly (ish) but that’s about it for the compliments. 1. We initially got assigned to a basement room which we did not mind, however, it was right next to a staff area and we just constantly hear staff chatting away outside our window… We reported it to front desk and they moved us to a different room that they claimed that it is not next to any staff working area, which was a LIE! We got woken up by the sounds of smashing glass one morning, then when we walked past our room later that day, it was full of rubbish outside… 2. Poor room service. They did warn us that they do not do daily room cleaning which was unusual already, however we did not expect that they don’t even make the bed, something that is so basic and takes 5 minutes to do… failed to do so for a place that costs £200 a night. (Only thing they did was replacing the towel) 3. Their shower gel bottle was running low and was…watery. Even if that’s just the nature of their shower gel, still hard to not assume that they added water into it instead of proper refill/replace. 4. The bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly, the “please tidy room” sign was broken and they were not bothered to change it… this is just pure laziness and lack of management. 5. Slow internet, shower is barely lukewarm, limescale all over the taps… again, you have a room that’s decorated nicely and then these basic things were just done so poorly. Very disappointed and will not recommend (I posted the same review at tripadvisor)
