My favorite place to stay when seeing theatre in London! It’s a short walk to all the theaters in the West End, but still removed enough to be more quiet than actually staying right in Covent Garden. The neighborhood feels very safe, and also just a short walk to St Pancras station for the Eurostar. The rooms are comfortable and just big enough, if you don’t have tons of luggage. The building is very old, and that is the charm of it. It’s warm in the summer, but they have very effective fans in the room, and operable windows. I always get the full English vegetarian breakfast, which is excellent, and they also offer non-dairy milks. It’s great having free coffee and tea from a vending machine in the lobby. And all the staff are so friendly and helpful.
