Our experience staying here was unfortunately not as expected. On the first night, we noticed bedbugs in the room. We were bitten and had to carefully clean all of our belongings after returning home. On the second day, heavy rain caused a leak, and some of our belongings got wet. While the host was responsive and provided us with a different room, the situation was quite inconvenient. The cleanliness of the room was also below expectations, and it was difficult to adjust the water temperature in the shower. Additionally, we were asked to pay a £25 cleaning fee upon arrival — a charge that had not been shown during booking through Agoda, and still does not appear to be listed among the costs. Despite raising all of these issues, we did not receive any form of refund or compensation. While we didn’t expect much at this price point, we did expect basic cleanliness, transparency, and fair handling of issues. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
