I have never experienced a hotel cancelling my reservation just three hours before my scheduled arrival. This happened during a busy June weekend (6/2026) in London, when finding alternative accommodation at such short notice was extremely difficult and very expensive. What was even more disappointing was that I was left completely on my own. The hotel offered no meaningful assistance, did not arrange or suggest alternative accommodation, and provided no support in resolving the situation. I had to deal with everything myself. In addition, the hotel’s email communication was confusing and misleading. The messages indicated that the hotel had cancelled my reservation, while at the same time creating the impression that I would not receive a refund. Although I did eventually receive a full refund, the communication caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty at an already difficult time. This level of customer service is simply unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
