This was one of the worst booking experiences I’ve ever had. The property uses a misleading check-in process that is not clearly disclosed at the time of booking. Only after payment, I was asked to send a photo of my passport via WhatsApp before 3:00 PM, otherwise I would not receive check-in instructions. This is highly inappropriate and raises serious data privacy concerns. Sending sensitive identification documents over WhatsApp to an unknown number is unsafe and unprofessional. No legitimate accommodation should require this without clearly stating it upfront on the booking page. Because I did not meet their hidden requirement, they refused to provide access to the property AND refused to issue a refund. This effectively means they took my money without delivering the service. Even more concerning, I was told this situation has happened multiple times before, which suggests a pattern of misleading guests. I will be escalating this case to Booking.com and reporting this practice. I strongly advise others to avoid this property.
