Holiday Inn Express London - Greenwich by IHG

delayed review- we stayed here back in april for a show at the 02. the bed was comfy but we got bitten the heck out of and didnt know what it was. we later learned they where bed bug bites and unfortunately for us they ended up also coming home with us which is gutting because our bed and mattress was brand new due to moving so its not nice dealing with. i had seen another review about the bed bugs and i believe we also stayed on that floor. i also had such a horrible experience with a cleaner in the morning. we had not woken up yet it wasnt even check out time. 8:30 am a cleaner just lets herself in whilst we slept and i wasnt decent! she saw me in a very vulnerable state and honestly it was a terrifying way to wake up! a stranger finding you naked because they barged in whilst you slept hanging out your backside and in no way ready to wake up yet! i did complain to the desk at checkout and the lady was very nice and offered us some snacks to take on our journey home but i didnt feel that was okay . food normally works for me!😂 but i was terrified and annoyed because surely the cleaners know what rooms should be vacant! is there not a list? i wouldnt personally stay again . a lot of work need to be done and the exterminators need to pay a visit!😬🪳 the fact i came here in july to write my review says enough because it really has stuck with me. can provide booking reference if needed! and photos of bites we received during our stay
