Grand Concerto Hotel

The room is fine, mostly clean, no bugs or other major issues. Room has the necessary utilities and they mostly function. The bed is decent, but there is an uncomfortable elevated seam between the halves. But we are able to sleep well. The breakfast is okay, but had limited selection. Both warm and cold food is there, tastes decent. Desserts look good, but I haven't tried them. After asking for gluten free alternatives the chef provided a fresh and separated bowl of eggs prepared after our request, as well as glutenfree bread. The coffee however was terrible. The staff is mostly friendly and often willing to help. But we also experienced some members of staff being slightly rude when making simple requests, like a new cup. Location is really good. Very close to the Paddington station which has great connections to both the city center and to the airport. There was an unfortunate event however where housekeeping left the door to our room open. Luckily, nothing had been stolen, but anyone could have helped themselves to our things.
