Best Western Corona Hotel

Well what can I even say about our stay - the staff were lovely! The location was spot on for the theatre, and the breakfast was fine. I think that's where the positives start and end. The room (and hotel as a whole) is quite dated. There's no air con in the rooms - and it's nearly 30°c in London so the room was a furnace! They did provide a fan, that didn't ocellate, so was fairly pointless and just blasted a stream of slightly cooler air in one direction. We apparently had break dancing in the room above us - I've never heard floorboards so squeaky! I called down to reception at around midnight to ask them to do something, anything, so we could sleep - I'm not sure if they did but it didn't improve, might've even got worse. There's dust in the bedside tables and on top of the wardrobe - which feels so miniscule, but come on, takes 2 seconds to run a duster round. Otherwise though I think housekeeping was fine. The TV in the room has Freeview - which is absolutely great, until you go to the loo, or upstairs start walking around, then the signal goes. The hotel also doesn't feel secure - there's no locked doors at all until you reach your room, so anyone can just stroll in. Windows can be fully opened and our room had a single bed under the window - recipe for disaster. I'm typing this after midnight and upstairs are apparently rearranging furniture. There's doors slamming in the corridor too, because who needs sleep anyway! Worst night!
