Unfortunately, it seems very likely that the room we stayed in (top floor, double bed) had bedbugs. After our one-night stay, I developed around 40 bites, many of them appearing in clusters and straight lines, which is very characteristic of bedbug bites. The bites only started itching after we had already checked out, so unfortunately we were no longer able to inspect the mattress or the room ourselves. However, given the number and typical pattern of the bites, the signs strongly suggest that bedbugs were present in the room.
