The spaciousness, comfort and range of facilities was outstanding; it fielded a fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher and washing machine below the bench top, and a stove top, microwave, kettle and toaster on top. The deep bath was very welcome to soak in after a day's sightseeing, although the depth also made it hard to climb out of for older people (like me). We were very grateful for the air conditioning. The bathroom handbasin tap was so unusual that it took us a couple of days before we realised that it had to be tilted back to enable water flow, unlike the seemingly identical taps for the bath and shower. The safe was locked when we arrived, leaving us without a safe storage for valuables; the problem wasn’t resolved during our week of occupation.
