I stayed here in June 2023 for four nights. Overall, it’s a very basic hotel that offers a fairly standard experience for the price you pay. One of the highlights of the stay was the staff. The reception team and breakfast staff were particularly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, which made a positive difference to the overall experience. The hotel itself was quite basic. The room was clean but the furniture felt dated, and the bathroom amenities were fairly minimal. Housekeeping was adequate, although our towels were not replaced daily. The food was probably the weakest aspect of the stay, as we found it quite bland and below average compared to other hotels in the area. The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s very close to the heart of Sultanahmet and within easy walking distance of many of Istanbul’s main attractions, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. In my opinion, this hotel feels closer to a 3-star property than anything higher. If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in a good location and don’t mind basic facilities, it offers reasonable value for money. I would also like to note that my stay was in June 2023, so this review may no longer fully reflect the current standard of the hotel. The management may have made improvements since then, so it’s only fair to keep that in mind when reading this review.
