Kadıköy White House

We chose this hotel because we love the Kadıköy/Moda district and it had positive reviews. However, it didn't quite meet our expectations, and there are a few things travelers should know in advance. We were assigned a ground-floor room, which was quite noisy due to its proximity to the street. Additionally, the room was very stuffy and smelled strongly of cigarettes upon arrival likely because the reception staff was smoking right outside our window. Be aware that these rooms appear to be smoking-friendly. A few other downsides: the windows lacked screens, and the AC was not functioning. When we asked for help, the receptionist was unsure how to fix it and said she’d need to ask someone else. Ultimately, we decided to check out early and did not stay the night. This might be a cute spot if you don't mind some noise or the smell of smoke, but I would definitely recommend requesting an upper floor.
