Homeowner and actual resident of this Community. I have no choice to change my rating to 1 Star due to the fact that this community is falling apart at an alarming rate. 1.There's garbage on the walking paths that's been there so long it will soon be time to buy it a bday card. Most of the littering is done by non residents, like gardeners, construction workers and car wash guys who seem to be under the impression that they aren't allowed to use the thousands of bins available everywhere. But residents aren't without fault either: Old furniture, discarded clothes,toys, baby stollers, you name it. There's plenty of garbage bins and regular garbage removal but people still manage to dump stuff on the streets and Management does nothing to stop it. No inspections, no penalties. Same for dog poop, you can't make 10 steps on the jogging path without coming across poop or garbage, it's disgusting and a health hazard. 2. Noise pollution is getting worse. As someone with 3 hearing health conditions, I have to use noise cancelling headphones inside my own home all day, 6 days a week and it's a nightmare. 3. Wheelchair users should know that the sidewalks are completely obstructed by vehicles. Even pedestrians can barely use the sidewalks but here that's just become normal now. It's illegal, irresponsible and inconsiderate but those words don't mean anything anymore. 4. No respect for the Law. People just do whatever they want. I myself almost got run over on the pedestrian crossing twice this year and a poor kid on a bicycle who was crossing properly on the crosswalk almost got wiped by a speeding car in front of my very eyes. There are kids who aren't that careful though and speed through the community on electric bikes and modified scooters. Possession and use of Fireworks without a permit is illegal. Using fireworks in residential areas is illegal and dangerous but every Divali and New Year it's the same thing and it gets worse every year. It falls to the Community Management and the Security team to enforce the law within Gated Communities but they just don't. They'll give delivery guys who bring your food a hard time though. As a resident you must go through a gate and have a pass to go through. Otherwise you have to go through security. Your friends and family who visit have to stop and give their details at the entrance. But every gardener or car washer on a scooter or bike can just waltz in and out, blasting leaf-blowers from 7am to 6:30pm, even on Saturdays, at a dangerous level of decibels and throwing garbage everywhere except in the bins. (By the way, look up what those leafblowers do to your children's health. You'll be surprised these things are even allowed.)There's no control of those people whatsoever. Every vacant house immediately gets squatted by them.They turn the garage into a bicycle spare parts shop and the yard into a junkyard. It's not a nice look for the neighbourhood. 5. Reclaimed water used for irrigation of common areas isn't filtered properly, resulting in a sewage smell at times. It's really bad and it happens mostly in the afternoon when everyone goes for a walk or to the playgrounds. Kids play on the very same grass that's just been covered in sewage water and nobody seems to care. This is a health and safety hazard that residents should be taking more seriously. We, the residents of Communities like these, are the ones who spend millions buying these properties. We pay annual fees that increase every year and what do we get for it? You can't even get some rest inside your own home if you're sick because of the noise, can't cross the road without being afraid some idiot is going to run you over and can't even breathe clean air outside because you're inhaling dust particles mixed with dog poop and rotten food.
