The First Collection Dubai Jumeirah Village Circle, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We arrived early and I honestly didn’t expect the birthday decoration to already be set up. I thought it was scheduled for 11am. But we were completely surprised! The room is cozy and very modern, we loved it. Huge shoutout to Igan from Concierge, Han from Nest Lounge, Han from operator, Iyyapan from the bar and the housekeeping who assisted us every morning. You guys went above and beyond and made my us feel so special. The team is amazing! Just one small note: I think the lotion in Room 3302 might have been refilled with soap instead of lotion. No big deal at all, just wanted to flag it. The only hiccup was with the limo/taxi to Soluna. I specifically asked at the lobby for a regular taxi and was quoted around 50 AED. While waiting, someone approached us, gave us our Soluna band pass, and put us in a car. We assumed it was hotel-arranged. On arrival at Soluna we were charged 90 AED and the driver was quite rude on the phone. It’s not about the money, I just didn’t want to feel misled. Thankfully Igan helped sort it out immediately and was so professional about it. Maybe just a suggestion to brief the third-party companies too, so it doesn’t affect the otherwise excellent service. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and the hotel staff made it unforgettable. Thank you!
