Royal Amwaj Apartments at Anantara, Palm Jumeirah, Free beach and pool access

I have not visited the property yet, was planned to go there in 2 weeks, unfortunately the Middle East tension is happening now with fire and dying people and no guarantee if we go that we will be able to come back, not even safe, flights are being cancelled and delayed, so stressful, on top of that a fire in one of the skyscrapers… I called to request cancellation with refund due to safety reasons and they are adamant that I should come cause it is safe… REALLY… should I believe them or the Australian government warning and putting UAE on high caution travel advisory… BACK AND FORTH messages on chat… answer is NO REFUND.. and I should take responsibility of the safety issue and cancellation… I would never go there and will fight for my right. The lady on the phone told me we don’t have insurance to cover that and because the region has wars all the time they make sure the accomodation is non refundable… come on! It is so sad that a big company like that treat clients like that… I could cancel my other hotel in Saudi Arabia in 10 min… but this resort sadly DOES NOT CARE
