Royal Mansoura Residence Hotel

I deeply regret staying at this hotel and would never return. When I made my reservation, I was specifically told that this was a non-smoking property. Upon arrival, however, the smell of cigarette smoke was immediately noticeable. I was then told that only the third floor allowed smoking, but that was simply not true. Guests were smoking throughout the hotel, and cigarette odors could be smelled in multiple rooms and hallways. This was especially concerning because I have asthma, and my son is extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke. During our stay, my son became sick and vomited multiple times due to the strong smell. I repeatedly reported the issue to hotel management and was assured that it would be addressed, but nothing changed. In addition, many of the rooms are outdated. The beds are old and uncomfortable, the rugs appear dirty, and many of the sofas and curtains are stained and in need of replacement. Communication was also difficult at times because many staff members did not speak English well enough to effectively assist guests. I am extremely disappointed by the misleading information regarding the smoking policy and by the hotel’s failure to resolve a serious health concern despite multiple complaints. I would not recommend this hotel to families, non-smokers, or anyone with respiratory conditions, and I will never stay here again.
